01Who we are

BeFast Company (“BeFast”, “we” or “us”) runs this website and the BeFast design, video and web subscription. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, start a free trial, subscribe or work with your BeFast team, and what we do with it.

02What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and account details: name, email, company, role and the login details of your BeFast client platform account.
• Billing details: your payment is handled by our payment processor. We receive only what we need for billing, such as your name, billing address, card brand and the last four digits.
• Your projects: requests, briefs, brand assets, files, footage, feedback and the messages you exchange with your team.
• Calls and emails: the details you give us when you book a call or write to us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser, device, the pages you visit and the page that sent you to us. We use it to keep the site running, secure and fast.

03How we use it

• To provide the Service: deliver your requests, run your account and talk to you about your work.
• To bill you: process payments, send receipts and remind you before your trial ends and 7 days before any renewal.
• To improve our website and Service, and to keep them secure and prevent fraud.
• To send you news about BeFast, when you have agreed to it or the law allows. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

04Legal bases

Where data protection laws such as Brazil’s LGPD or the GDPR apply, we process your information because we need it to perform our contract with you, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business, because you gave us your consent, or because the law requires it.

05Cookies and similar tools

Our website only uses what it needs to work. For example, it uses your browser’s session storage to remember that you have already seen our pop-up during a visit. If you arrive through a partner’s referral link, your browser’s local storage keeps that partner’s code for up to 90 days, so the right partner is credited if you subscribe. The website itself does not set advertising cookies.

We may add analytics or advertising tools, such as Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, to understand visits and measure our ads. If we do, we will list them here and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

06Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run BeFast, such as hosting, payment processing, email, scheduling, file storage and the infrastructure of our client platform. They process data only on our instructions.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if BeFast is ever merged or sold. We will tell you before your information is transferred.

We do not sell your personal information.

07International transfers

BeFast is based in Brazil and works with clients in the United States and other countries. Your information may be processed in Brazil, in the United States and wherever our service providers operate. When it crosses borders, we use the safeguards the law requires, such as contractual clauses.

08How long we keep it

• Account and project data: while your subscription is active. After you cancel, you can download your files, and we keep your workspace for number of days in case you come back. Then we delete it.
• Billing records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold your information and give you a copy of it;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, or anonymize it, when we no longer need it;
• send your information to you or to another provider;
• stop or limit some uses of your information, or withdraw a consent you gave;
• tell you who we have shared your information with.

To make a request, email hello@befastcompany.com. We answer within the time the law requires, and we never treat you differently for using your rights. You can also contact your local data protection authority; in Brazil, that is the ANPD.

10Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections, access controls and access limited to the people working on your account. No system is 100% secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

11Children

BeFast is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we also email our customers.
